Configure and manage kiosk settings remotely

Admin & Configuration

Manage kiosk settings from Partner Portal.

Kiosk Setup

Initial Setup

  1. Install hardware - Screen, terminal, printer
  2. Connect to network - WiFi or ethernet
  3. Open kiosk URL - Your kiosk domain
  4. Log in with admin credentials
  5. Register device - Assign to restaurant
  6. Configure settings - See below

Kiosk Registration

  1. Go to Partner Portal → Devices → Kiosks
  2. Click Add Kiosk
  3. Enter device name (e.g., "Entrance Kiosk 1")
  4. Note the registration code
  5. Enter code on kiosk device
  6. Device registered and synced

Kiosk Status

StatusMeaning
🟢 OnlineConnected, ready for orders
🟡 BusyCustomer actively ordering
🔴 OfflineNot connected
🔒 LockedAdmin locked, not accepting orders

Multiple Kiosks

Naming Convention

Use clear names:

  • "Entrance Kiosk 1"
  • "Food Court Kiosk A"
  • "Drive-Thru Kiosk"

Per-Kiosk Settings

Each kiosk can have:

  • Different menus (e.g., breakfast kiosk)
  • Different languages
  • Different payment terminals

Bulk Actions

Select multiple kiosks to:

  • Push updates
  • Change settings
  • Restart all

Lock Mode

Lock kiosk when needed:

  • Staff meetings
  • Maintenance
  • Out of service

Enabling Lock Mode

  1. Partner Portal → Devices → Select kiosk
  2. Click Lock Mode
  3. Kiosk shows "Out of Service" message
  4. Unlock when ready
