Staff login and device authentication for Kitchen Display System
Login & Authentication
Set up and authenticate your Kitchen Display System devices.
How to Log In
- Open Browser - Navigate to your KDS URL on the kitchen display device
- Enter Credentials - Use your staff login (same as Partner Portal)
- Select Location - Choose your restaurant if you have multiple
- Select Station - Pick your kitchen station (grill, prep, etc.)
Device Setup
First-Time Setup
- Open a web browser on your kitchen display
- Go to
kds.fleksa.com(or your custom domain) - Log in with manager credentials
- The device will be registered to your restaurant
Recommended Devices

User Permissions
Kitchen staff need the KDS_ACCESS permission to log into the Kitchen Display. Managers can assign this in:
Partner Portal → Settings → Users → Edit Permissions
Troubleshooting
Can't Log In
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Invalid credentials | Verify email/password in Partner Portal |
| No access | Check user has KDS_ACCESS permission |
| Wrong location | Confirm user is assigned to this restaurant |
Device Issues
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Screen goes blank | Check power saving settings, disable auto-sleep |
| Browser crashes | Clear browser cache, restart device |
| Slow performance | Close other apps, ensure stable WiFi |
Connection Lost
- Check WiFi connection on the device
- Refresh the browser page
- If persistent, restart the device
- Contact support if issue continues
