Enabling Accessibility Mode

From Kiosk

Look for Accessibility icon (wheelchair symbol)
Tap to open accessibility menu
Enable desired features
Settings persist for session

From Admin

Go to Partner Portal → Kiosk Settings
Set default accessibility options
Enable/disable features globally

Compatible with:

iOS: VoiceOver
Android: TalkBack
Windows: Narrator, NVDA

How It Works

All buttons have text labels
Images have alt text
Menu items read name + price
Focus order is logical

Height Considerations

For wheelchair users:

Hardware Placement

Screen at 48" max height
Payment terminal reachable
Card slot accessible
Receipt printer at lower height

On-Screen

Important buttons in reachable area
Avoid bottom corners
Scrollable content if needed

Timeout Extensions

Standard timeout: 5 minutes

Accessibility mode:

Extended to 10-15 minutes
Clear warning before timeout
Easy "need more time" button

In Partner Portal

Troubleshooting

Cause	Solution
Not enabled on device	Enable in device settings
Labels missing	Update to latest kiosk version
Focus trap	Tab through to escape

Text Too Small

Cause	Solution
Accessibility mode off	Enable large text
System font size	Increase device font size
Custom setting needed	Adjust in admin panel

Timeout Too Short

Cause	Solution
Accessibility mode not active	Enable from icon
Setting overridden	Check Partner Portal settings
Session error	Contact support
