How It Works

What Syncs in Real-Time

Connection Status
Check your connection in the header:
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 🟢 Green dot | Connected, real-time active |
| 🟡 Yellow dot | Reconnecting... |
| 🔴 Red dot | Disconnected, orders may be delayed |
Offline Behavior
If connection is lost:
- Existing orders remain visible on screen
- New orders queue and appear when reconnected
- Your actions queue and sync when back online
- Auto-reconnect attempts every few seconds
Multi-Location
Each location has its own order stream:
- Orders only appear for the logged-in location
- Staff at Location A don't see Location B orders
- Multi-location managers can switch locations in settings
Sync Speed

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Orders delayed | Check WiFi connection, try refreshing |
| Connection keeps dropping | Check router stability, may need IT support |
| Red connection indicator | Verify internet is working, try different browser |
| Syncing with wrong location | Log out and log in to correct location |
Force Refresh
If orders seem out of sync:
- Pull down on the screen (mobile) or press
F5(keyboard) - Wait for full reload
- Check connection indicator is green
- Contact support if issues persist
