View and manage table reservations from the POS
Reservations
Manage incoming reservations directly from the POS. View booking requests, assign tables, and track reservation status throughout service.

Reservations Overview
The reservations screen shows all bookings organized by status:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Pending | New requests awaiting response |
| Confirmed | Accepted reservations |
| Assigned | Table has been assigned |
| Completed | Guest has finished dining |
| Cancelled | Reservation was cancelled |
Viewing Reservations

Access reservations from the calendar icon in the left sidebar.
Each reservation shows:
- Guest name
- Party size
- Requested date and time
- Phone number
- Special requests (if any)
Reservation Details

Tap any reservation to see full details:
Guest Information:
- Name and contact number
- Email (if provided)
- Special requests or notes
Booking Details:
- Date and time
- Party size
- Source (Website, Google, etc.)
Actions Available:
- Accept or decline
- Assign table
- Edit details
- Contact guest
Managing New Reservations
When a new reservation comes in:
Step 1: Review the request in the Pending section
Step 2: Check availability for the requested time
Step 3: Accept or suggest an alternative time
Step 4: The guest receives confirmation automatically
Assigning Tables

Step 1: Open the confirmed reservation
Step 2: Tap Assign Table
Step 3: Select an appropriate table from the floor plan
Step 4: The reservation links to that table
When the guest arrives, the table will be ready.
Reservation Sources
Reservations come from multiple channels:

All reservations appear in the same list regardless of source.
Creating a Walk-In Reservation
For phone calls or walk-ins:
Step 1: Tap + Create Reservation
Step 2: Enter guest details:
- Name
- Phone number
- Party size
- Date and time
Step 3: Add any special requests
Step 4: Save the reservation
Status Workflow
Reservations flow through these statuses:
PENDING → ACCEPTED → ASSIGNED → COMPLETED
↘ CANCELLEDPending - Awaiting your response
Accepted - Confirmed with guest
Assigned - Table allocated
Completed - Guest has dined and left
Cancelled - Booking was cancelled
During Service
When a guest arrives:
Step 1: Find their reservation in the list
Step 2: Verify party size and name
Step 3: Seat them at the assigned table
Step 4: Their table shows as occupied on the floor plan
Tips for Reservation Management
Preparation:
- Review upcoming reservations at shift start
- Pre-assign tables for busy periods
- Note any VIP or special requests
Communication:
- Confirm large party reservations
- Call for no-shows after 15 minutes
- Update status promptly
Table Planning:
- Consider party sizes when assigning
- Leave buffer between reservations
- Account for average dining time
