Campaigns (Email & SMS)
Email and SMS campaigns let you reach your customers directly with personalized messages, offers, updates, and reminders. They are powerful for retention, reactivation, and promoting events or specials.

Accessing Campaigns
Step 1: Go to Marketing in the sidebar.
Step 2: Select Campaigns (or the email/SMS section).
Creating a Campaign
Email Campaign
Step 1: Click Create Email or New Email Campaign.
Step 2: Choose audience (all customers, segments, or specific lists).
Step 3: Write subject line, preview text, and email body (use templates or rich editor for images, buttons, offers).
Step 4: Add links to offers, menu, or booking.
Step 5: Schedule or send immediately.
Step 6: Review and confirm.
SMS Campaign
Similar flow but shorter messages (character limits apply). Good for time-sensitive offers or reminders.
Tracking and Analytics
After sending:
- Open rates, click rates (for email).
- Delivery success / bounce rates.
- Revenue attributed to the campaign (if tracking is set up).
- Unsubscribe / complaint rates.
Use this data to improve future campaigns.
Best Practices
- Segment your audience for relevance (e.g. only wine lovers for a wine event).
- Personalize where possible (first name, past favorites).
- Include clear calls to action.
- Comply with anti-spam laws (easy unsubscribe, proper identification).
- Test on mobile (most opens are mobile).

Note: Email deliverability depends on your sending domain setup and reputation. SMS may have additional costs per message depending on your provider integration.
