Delivery Areas

Delivery Areas let you define where your restaurant delivers, set fees (fixed, per distance, or zone-based), minimum orders, and other rules. Use the interactive map to draw or upload zones for precise control.

Accessing Delivery Areas

Step 1: Go to Settings in the sidebar.

Step 2: Select Delivery or Delivery Areas.

The map interface loads with your current zones (if any).

Setting Up Zones

Step 1: Use the map tools to draw polygons for delivery zones (or import KML/GeoJSON if supported).

Step 2: For each zone, set:

• Name (e.g., "Downtown", "Suburbs")

• Delivery fee (fixed or formula-based)

• Minimum order amount

• Estimated time

• Active hours or days (if granular)

Step 3: Save zones.

Customers outside zones won't see delivery option or get a message.

Additional Rules

• Set global delivery settings: max distance, vehicle types, or integration with third-party delivery services.

• Test zones by entering sample addresses.

Best Practices

• Start with broad zones and refine based on actual demand and driver data.

• Use clear zone names for internal reporting.

• Monitor delivery performance in reports to adjust fees or boundaries.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations for delivery.
